Raili got a stomach bug this week and had to stay home for two days as everything she put in her mouth came right back up. First night she threw up six times, next day two times and again three times at night until the bug finally gave up. She was a very brave girl and with David teaching her to "throw up on the floor not in your bed",  she "succeeded" many times.

Funny incident #1: she woke up in the middle of the night wanting to throw up and turned her head over the bed railing just like David had taught her (in the hopes of catching the bucket or the floor). Unfortunately she turned the wrong way and ended up throwing up on Kai who sleeps on the lower bed to her left. Kai woke up to a light shower from above, yelped once, curled up again with his blankie and went back to sleep.

Funny incident #2: The first night she was sick, Raili and David were up in her bed telling stories and making her stomach feel better. After she had thrown up yet again she told David "Daddy, somebody in my stomach pushed nineteen!" David was a bit puzzled at first but with a little more explanation from Raili he undestood that she was talking about the throw up; it was in an elevator (her throat) just like when we come home and push nineteen for our floor. In her mind, her stomach was "B1" (the basement) and somebody in her stomach who wanted to get rid of the bad stuff pushed 19 to get it up and out. Funny girl.
