Kai gave up his nuk a week ago without a fight. When our Ayi left for vacation, we explained that she took the nuk to a little baby that needed it (I know, such bad parents blaming the loss on someone else!). To our amazement, he was ok with the explanation.

What he is not willing to give up anytime soon is his blanket and his cars. I caught him sleeping with his head on one of the cards (as a pillow) this afternoon. And notice how he has placed the cars in a straight line right before falling asleep. Must be true love.
