China seems to bring out extreme emotions in people. One day you are flying high feeling all pampered and spoiled and the next moment you curse at steping into a puddle of night soil, again. 

So it's good to know others are going through the same emotions, that it's not just you. One resource that has helped me a lot is called Shanghai Mamas; an informal group or expat moms in Shanghai sharing knowledge and experience as we all navigate our lives here.
